There were Frontier Wars in Australia but we just don’t seem to know how authentically acknowledge this or to collectively grieve as a nation.

This song brings what happened into the present. I am interested in sound as a broad brush educational tool in this instance.

Monash University Clayton campus is a living blend of architecture and nature, in it’s designed, controlled way. Today I was struck by the almighty presence of a shill that took over the path, the buildings and my destination. Here’s a phone recording of the wall of tiny tones as natures architecture.

Audio is a way to make felt the layers of spaces. This piece is about vast distances of Country we have in Victoria. I respectfully acknowledge Maree Clarke who featured this sound as part of her Ritual and Ceremony installation at Bunjilaka and NGV.
